Another batch of vintage Pete Hawley birthday cards are up on myFlickr photostream right now. I think I must have got at least one a year in the 70s!

Love it! I actually received those same cards when I was a kid back in the Chicago area to find out many years later I would move to Arizona and marry my husband and find out Pete Hawley was his grandfather and he is the boy posing in some of those cards! Great work!
Wow! Great to hear from you grand-daughter-in-law-Hawley! Pete Hawley's work was a part of a lot of North American's kid's childhood in the 1960s and 1970s. Neat to hear that he was an even bigger part of yours and your husband's! Oh, and I updated the Flickr link to lead directly to the cards.
Born with a pencil in his hand (after
four unsuccessful attempts doctors
managed to transplant it to just above
his right ear) Canadian Glen Mullaly
draws neato pictures for kids of all
ages from the swanky west coast
studio that he shares with his
awesomely-understanding wife and
their spectacularly indifferent cat.
